Live effects and visual modes

Painting modes

  • Off: no trail, the frame just shows the live camera feed.
  • Continuous: paint accumulates and stays on screen until you reset.
  • Decay: paint accumulates but trails fade out over time instead of staying on screen.

Mirror and layout modes

  • 2x and 4x mirror
  • Twisted butterfly
  • 3x horizontal

Reset and playback behavior

  • Crossfade: adjustable 0 to 5 seconds, fades to black on reset instead of cutting instantly.
  • Slow down / speed up: sliders that change trail accumulation speed live.
  • Rewind and boomerang: alternate playback effects for the recorded result.

Effects stack

The full live effects stack is organized into families you can combine: Presets (reusable looks), Motion (trail lifetime, whole-canvas animation), Transform (symmetry, tiling), Drift (paint aging/deformation), Look (color and post effects), Shine (source-based star/glow), Separation & Scene (foreground vs. background), and Watermark (branded overlay, on eligible plans). All of this is tunable while the camera is running, no need to leave the live session.
