Xangle Camera Server

Xangle Studio captured a dancer in motion through advanced 3D scanning techniques. The project utilized high-speed flashes to freeze the movement, enabling the precise capture of dynamic poses. This method allows for the creation of highly detailed 3D models from live action, showcasing Xangle Studio's capability in motion capture and volumetric video. The resulting scans provide a rich dataset for various applications, from visual effects to interactive experiences.

We've been doing that for so long, but never in the 3d-scanner. These older images were made using our bullet-time array: https://www.instagram.com/p/BdOs3H4nY0g/ There are two things that I wanted to do for this demo 1- Perform a real 3d-scan with a dancer in motion, which involved flashlight at the right time (Kim handled this through the audio cue) 2- Demonstrate the light configuration in slow motion to make it easier to understand what's happening behind the curtains. Things are going in this order: a) constant white LEDs are on (ambient lights) b) trigger signal is requested (from my finger bluetooth presenter... I'm right outside of the framing) c) LEDs turn to rainbow and audio cues start (3 seconds countdown) d) exposure starts on all cameras (1/40s) e) exactly half way during the exposure time, 4 strobes are fired (1/1800s), freezing perfectly the dancer f) constant white LEDs are back on This is all automated with a single click of a button using Xangle Camera Server.
