Light-painting photographer Eric Pare showcased his innovative bullet-time photography techniques during a visit with Canon USA. This collaboration highlighted the advanced capabilities of Canon equipment in capturing complex visual effects. Pare, known for his distinctive light art, demonstrated how bullet-time allows for dynamic, multi-angle perspectives within a single moment. The project underscores the creative potential when combining specialized photographic artistry with cutting-edge camera technology.

Canon USA came to visit my studios a few weeks ago. But why is that a big deal for me? I started connecting cameras together back in 2011. At that time, it was mostly about freezing moments in photobooths. But it's really through my creative projects that I've been able with my team to build my own set of software. Over the years, we pushed so much to achieve better performances, better calibration, better precision. Today we run a successful studio in Montreal where we do bullet-time and photogrammetry with our 230 cameras. But we also provide this technology and support to our partners and all combined, we owned over a thousand cameras and we cover all continents. We thrive to constantly improve our solution, and having Canon with us today means big changes in the near future. This mainly opens doors for us to have a better understanding at what's happening inside the cameras but mostly to be more efficient at controlling these cameras.
